Energy Crisis Measures

Due to the extreme heat, prolonged drought, and the resulting challenges affecting energy and water supply, we are introducing several measures.

Dear Guests,

Due to the extreme heat, prolonged drought, and the resulting challenges affecting energy and water supply, Sárvári Gyógyfürdő Ltd. has reviewed its operations and is introducing several measures to help reduce energy consumption while continuing to provide our guests with the high standard of services they have come to expect.

The water used in our pools and irrigation system is supplied from our own thermal and freshwater wells, while a significant part of our electricity demand is generated by our gas engine. As a result, our reliance on electricity from the public grid remains minimal.

To achieve further energy savings, we are implementing the following measures:

  • The sauna world will operate only on Saturdays and Sundays.
  • Water attractions will be available only during the spa's opening hours, including for hotel guests.
  • The operation of the ventilation and air handling system will be optimized.
  • The operation of three heat pumps will be temporarily suspended.
  • Outdoor and indoor decorative and ambient lighting will be reduced to the necessary level.
  • Our tenants have been encouraged to implement energy-saving measures in their own operations.
  • During night-time cleaning, lighting will be used only where work is being carried out.
  • From 4th of August 2026. until 22nd of August 2026. (expected), the opening hours of the Padel and foot tennis courts will be changed to 4:00 PM–10:00 PM.

We will continue to review all additional opportunities for further measures should the current situation worsen, while always ensuring that water quality, guest safety and the high standard of our services remain our highest priorities.

We firmly believe that, under the current extraordinary circumstances, the responsible and efficient use of resources is a shared responsibility. We sincerely thank our guests for their understanding and cooperation.
